Now lets see what the others have to say wr How do I get the updates to 10 CE if there really are 500MB of bug fixes? MB
Steve Scrimpshire
The mirrors are still kinda screwed up. There aren't many that I could find that actually have all the proper directories. Here's one: ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/distr.../i586/Mandrake/ So, you would do this to get urpmi set up properly ( choose a mirror closer to you for faster download speeds...a list of mirrors is here: http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/ftp.php3#586 ): <<skip this part if you want to just keep using your disks for stuff you haven't installed>> urpmi.removemedia -a urpmi.addmedia 10.0 ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/distributions/mandrakelinux/official/10.0/i586/Mandrake/RPMS with ../base/hdlist.cz && urpmi.addmedia 10.0-2 ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/distributions/mandrakelinux/official/10.0/i586/Mandrake/RPMS2 with ../base/hdlist2.cz && urpmi.addmedia 10.0-3 ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/distributions/mandrakelinux/official/10.0/i586/Mandrake/RPMS3 with ../base/hdlist3.cz <<stop skipping>> Go into MandrakeUpdate and add this as your updates source (once again, use a mirror closer to you for faster downloads): ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/distributions/mandrakelinux/official/updates/10.0/RPMS/ (If you need to know, the hdlist is also at ../base/hdlist.cz) Edited April 22, 2004 by Steve Scrimpshire
