aRTee Posted February 25, 2004 Report Share Posted February 25, 2004 If you have 'deadkeys' enabled, all you do is type "^" once, which doesn't show a character, then type "e" which gives the "ê". I need to type lots and lots of typographical characters as well as some other stuff such as æ ø þ ð € © ß — “ ” « » ‘ ’ ‚ ... etc. It's not really a problem if I use OO.org, as I set it up to replace some characters automatically, but if I need a — instead of a - I'm buggered. In windows, this is called a code page.
