coverup
My new Thinkpad T41 came with an Intel wireless and with a D-link DWL-AB650 wireless cardbus adapter: I ordered a supported Cisco miniPCI adapter, but have gotten Intel + D-link card.... I would certainly try to get IBM to replace it but it seems that they do not ship Cisco miniPCI with this particular laptop configuration... don't know why, but that's what the docs say... Anyway, my question is whether there is a support for D-link DWL-AB650. Linux-wlan.org say the card is based on Atheros chipset, MADWIFI project is not very clear on this one either - they support Atheros cards based on AR52xx chipset, but according to Atheros this card is based on AR5001x.... Does anybody have it working? I would certainly try myself but I don't have a wireless router yet....
