Gnubie
Go to gaim.sourceforge.net and there you will find a 0.75 rpm for mandrake 9.2. I suggest trying that.

liquidzoo
Try adding a contrib mirror to your urpmi sources. See http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi if you're not sure how to do that. There is also an FAQ in our FAQ forum dealing with this. After you do that, open a terminal, su to root and type urpmi gaim This will install the newest version of gaim and all of it's dependencies. liquidzoo
you might need a plf and a cooker site as well to get that specific perl base.

liquidzoo
Ok, glad you got everything working. For your movie player/html editor, check out GQ-08 in our FAQ section. As for your keyboard issue, do you have the correct layout set up in mdk? If so, maybe the keyboard is going bad? If it's really bugging you, open a new thread about it.
