I need an alternative for IrfanView for Mandrake :) also a HTML Editor with auto completion of Tags facility...

lets say i need this facility in only GAIM and Opera. What do I do! :)

shifting between windows of a SDI applications like different tabs in Opera/Gaim. Currently I have to use Control Page Down/Up...

nope no Gnome on the login screen. I just get 2 otehr interfaces which are way too baic. ICE something...

I assume ctrl+tab is configured for virtual desktops. Now I don´t want these. Instead I want the basic windows functionality... Any way? :D

Opera just added an IRC client in the latest preview. simple and it works. I recommend it!

mission accomplished... dunno, what mess i have made during the process. but it looks good now... Mandy is up Net is working Opera is working TV Tuner is working!!! Sound Card is working Music is playing... IRC/Yahoo/MSN are up! :D Now, 2 things... well i have the same problem. i installed the default setup and i have only KDE. Installed GNome manually. no option for it on the login screen... :(

Tried everything but cant seem to install Gaim... :( currently i get this error: Some package requested cannot be installed: gaim-0.74-1.i586 (due to unsatisfied libnss3.so) do you agree ?

I am on mandrake 9.2 and everything seems to be working fine... now... GAIM is not installing :( Error: Some package requested cannot be installed: gaim-0.75-0mdk9.2.i586 (due to unsatisfied libnss3) do you agree ? What to do? Plus no players installed to play MP3! :(

now reading another post, i got confused. the partition i want to install linux is the E: drive on my windows as of now. whats the logic behind extended partition or stuff. i dont want linux to touch my XP partition i already have a partition to play with :|

lets hope my next question in this forum will be from a linux OS. :)
