      Mandriva Official Documentation

Official documentation for extant versions of Mandriva can be found at doc.mandriva.com.   Documentation for the latest release may take some time to appear there. You can install all the manuals from the main repository if you have Mandriva installed - files are prefixed mandriva-doc.

      Forum software upgrade   10/29/17

So you may have noticed the forum software has upgraded !!!
A few things that have changed. We no longer have community blogs (was never really used) We no longer have a portal page.
We can discuss this, and decide whether it is needed (It costs money) See this thread: Here

2 cards & 2 monitors

Recommended Posts

This is my system: 64 bit box running a fast AMD processor, two flat screen Samsung monitors (digital) two Msi N 9400 Gt video cards.

Running Mandriva 2010 64 bit OS. The system starts on one monitor while loading and switches to the other monitor to operate.

I have tried to install the newest Nvidia drivers. Do I have to change something in command mode to get this setup to work?

Have no similar configuration at hand, but would guess one could tweak

configuration-settings through NVIDIA X Server Settings -> X Server Display

Configuration.

At beforehand i suggest to check first through Mandriva Control

Center under hardware in set up graphical server that "Enable duplicate display

on external monitor" is set.

Now you should be able to enable TwinView.
