Guest pja
I have just installed Mandrake 9.2 and I cant find ppp on any of the menus. Even when I search for ¨ppp¨ or ¨pppd¨ and find pppd in the directory usr/sbin/ it wont run. I have managed to configure a connection (and connect) through the Mandrake Control Centre - but surely this is not the normal way with 9.2! This seemed much easier on Mandrake 9.1. I am relatively new to Linux and would be greatful for any assistance. Regards, Peter
DragonMage
Install kdenetwork-kppp package. It's not installed by default in Mandrake 9.2 (which is stupid imo). To do that just search for kppp in Mandrake Control Center -> Software -> Install Software or just type urpmi kdenetwork-kppp as root
