Steve Scrimpshire
I've searched here and Google and find no reference to this. I've downloaded several different versions of Firebird .7 and tried each one. The Modern Theme simply does not work. I can see it under themes, but clicking on it shows me no preview and clicking OK leaves me with my current theme. I've tried copying my old Mozilla modern.jar to several different places and still it doesn't work. Any ideas? liquidzoo
sometimes you have to restart firebird in order for the theme to apply. Have you tried that? Other than that, I have no idea. But you could always try downloading a different theme from http://www.mozdev.org
Steve Scrimpshire
Yup. Tried restarting. Right now I'm using Skypilot which is pretty cool, I guess.
chin808
I never got it either... the themes section on mozillazine forums has some good links, I have a crystal theme that goes well with the crystal icons that I dont use anymore in gnome. Do you remember where u found the skypilot theme? Id like to see that. -C

iphitus
MOzilla Firebird 0.7 cant use theme from 0.6 and vice versa, it is because of interface changes, subtle as they may be, or unnnoticable. It's because every version is deifferent and that a theme not made for that version can cause instability in the browser. THe same applies for Mozilla
