Hi all! I have a creative pci 128 bits sound card. The problem is I constantly having trouble with sound server: 1 - the soundserver is unable to support multiple instances playing sounds 2 - the soundserver is constantly busy [root@192 System]# ./armyops-bin open /dev/[sound/]dsp: Device or resource busy what means full duplex and network transparency on KDE control center? How do I fix those sound server problems? May I use autosuspend option to soundserver? Thanks everybody

actually both the issues are the same one. I think what is happening is that the game is crashing because the sound server is "aparently" busy. How could I solve the sound server problem? thanks any help!

nothing is using the sound server. I already restarted machine. when kde is loading it plays a "welcome" sound but when I run americas army game it says at console that sound server is busy. :(

Hi all! I tried to find AAO´s user.ini but I couldn´t find it. In this file is stored all user prefs for the game. so I already have configurated all the keyboard and other things for the game in windows. Now I just want to copy my user.ini form the windows installation directory to the linux game installation directory. In windows it is on system game folder but I replaced the file on the same game installation dir on linux but it don´t works. :(

Hi guys! Since I installed the new nvidia driver I cant change the screen reolution from 800x600. I tried mandrake control center but still 800x600: I switch it to 1024x768 then I restart X finally I go back to mandrake control center. Ok I did the change: "nv" -> "nvidia" But now the screen resolution is always 640x480. I already tryed change it using mandrake control center and restarting the X but it is always 640x480 :-(
