Yeah, that's what I use too, and all my ports are stealthed, except the ones I need, such as 80, 21, 22, and so forth.
-
Oh, I didn't install it... I don't think it's a free distro. I just found the screenshot.

Yeah, I thanked Icculus too. He roXor.

I don't see a real point of using a script to launch my games instead of Blackbox... I have icons, and they're there for a reason.
Section "Module" # This loads the DBE extension module. Load "dbe" # This loads the Video for Linux module. Load "v4l" Load "glx" # This loads the miscellaneous extensions module, and disables # initialisation of the XFree86-DGA extension within that module. SubSection "extmod" #Option "omit xfree86-dga" EndSubSection # This loads the Type1 and FreeType font modules Load "type1" Load "freetype" EndSection
That's my 8.2 file... I don't know what that extmod crap is about...

This won't be an issue for whoever buys the boxed set according to Ranger and Deno. Even if it's not detected as the *right* Geforce, as long as you pick Geforce the nvidia-supplied binaries will work. Any Geforce or tnt2 uses the Driver "nvidia" and the kernel module/glx module.
Isn't it weird how Mandrake started putting tons of default options in the /etc/X1/XF86Config-4 file since the first 9 beta? There are glx options in there, v4l, bla bla, about 6 or 7. Before there was only one, the dbe thing.
My 8.2 had v4l in it by default.

Kylix (which supports Delphi and C++ Builder) is for RAD. This means, it's sorta like Visual Basic is, but using BETTER languages, and a better IDE, IMHO.
Not to mention cross-platform compatability.
Anyhow, I like them, but I haven't used C++ Builder at all yet.
For SDL, I am using nedit (happy, ramfree17?) as my IDE, as it does all I need it to do.

Well, I don't know... The GeForce2 doesn't have 3D out of the box.
I just got a GF4 Ti4200 today, and it doesn't work properly with Mandrake 9.0 RC3, out of the box. I just used links to view my page and download the drivers and then I installed them.
Worked like a charm.

Okay, I retract my earlier statement. The installer says Mandrake 9.0 RC3, so they won't just be renaming the ISOs... SuXoR.

Just search for tux pictures on Google or something. It's there.
-
I don't know why, but that has happened to me with Abuse... It just doesn't work sometimes.
The Twilight RPM works for most everyone else, so I'm not sure what the problem is... Sorry.
-
Why did you say my name? It's not like I can move it or anything, so talk to one of the mods. And when I originally replied, the forum layout hadn't been changed. So there. :P
-
Doesn't matter because Mandrake said already that they plan to release once a year from now on. I'm sure that's what they said... This means more people will have to learn urpmi using external sources... Geez... Oh well.
-
The patch is out.
-
So am I the only one that thinks that this will become the final version?
I bet they'll just rename these ISOs... Heh.

This is on the links page now. :)

It tells you the disk usage. That's a nice thing. Maybe you don't like it, but I do. That's just too bad for you.
