I've been searching like a crazy on my MCC and google to find this little annoying but not vital question. How do I change the name on my computer? It's called something like x1-00-bla-bla-bla and I want to change it for something more "understandable".

Found out some more, the error only occurs under Xorg 6.7. Under Xorg 8.6 or 8.6.1 the game won't even run.

Star in the panel --> Right click on the panel ---> Add ----> Special button ----> K-menu

There is a section at Kde-look.org that tells you how to change Icons, you can also find new icons themes there.

How is Xorg working with Ubuntu, I read somewhere that Ubuntu uses Xfree86 heavy modified? Or should I wait for an update?

It's a commen problem I've heard that X wouldn't start after an upgrade.

Did you back up the stuff you're using before upgrading? If you did I'll recommend Installing mdk 10 instead of upgrading. (it's better and more painless)

I don't have Star Office :unsure: but what I understand is that while star office is unpacking and installing itself it should also install java? But it refuse to do so?

Then you are sure that Java is install :)
