  1. I have tried to subscribe to Cooker mailng list several times but I haven't been able to do it. I follow what is said in http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/fdevlists.php3 and I receive an email with three ways to subscribe: Someone (hopefully you) asked for your e-mail address to be added to list 'cooker'. If you want this action to be taken, please - reply to this mail OR - send a message to sympa@linux-mandrake.com with subject auth XXXXXXXX sub cooker XXXX@XXXX.com OR - hit the following mailto mailto:sympa@linux-mandrake.com?subject=auth%XXXXXXXXXX%20sub%20cooker%20XXXX@XXXX.com If you do not want this action to be taken, you can safely ignore this message. I have tried the three ways but I don't receive any email from the list. Any idea?. Thank you.
  2. Could someone tell me the differences among all the Mandrake precompiled kernels?. Or, if it exists, any link to that information. Thank you.
  3. I have tried with the second CD with the same result.
  4. Hello all, I have a problem trying to install Mandrake 9.2 in my Clevo D400E laptop (I have the same problem with other distros): I boot with the CD 1 (it has been tested in other computer and it works) and it freezes after booting the kernel (the screen goes black and there is no activity). I have to reboot. If I try to load it with a text-only option I can see these messages: Loading root.bin... Loading linux.bin... ready. Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel. Then it freeze... Any idea?. Someone here with the same laptop (it is reselled with a lot of diferent names all the world arround) and Mandrake 9.2?.
  5. Do you know if there are KDE 3.1.1 rpms for Mandrake anywhere?. I haven't found them.
  6. All the controls in KMix are set to the max. It seems a problem with the drivers in the kernel but I don't know how to fix it.

  8. It seems to me that, from some days ago on, Cooker has not new packages. Is that true?. Can it something to do with new Mandrake 9.1?. If so, when is planned to start again with new packages in Cooker?. I woluld like to see packages like KDE 3.1.1 or OpenOffice 1.1 beta in Cooker.
  9. It works now. Thank you

  11. Hello, I have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed and it is my default application for pdf files in Konqueror but when I click a pdf file I get a Acrobat window to open the file and I would like to watch it in the Konqueror window. Is it possible?. I think so because I think I have it this way some time ago but I don't know how. Thank you in advance.
