I deleted the folders, but i still have the problem

I am using the 10.1 official but i spent the all evening yesterday updating from the tree and the pb is the same.

When i look into mandrake configuration, Package manager, i see that Flash player 7.0.25-1 is installed. In fact i can see that i have version 7.0.25-1 and versiopn 6.0-7 installed. Howver, when i look into Mozilla or Konqueror, it tells me that i have the version 6.0-7. What can i do to effectively install version 7.0.25-1 ? Help please .

IN KDE when i click on when i go to my home desktop and then i click on the home icon, the following message appear : "There appear to be a configuration error. You have asociated Konqueror with application/x-desktop, but it cannot handle this file type." Allso, when i click on the home icon on my taskbar, it does not open my home desktop.

i am on Mandrake version 10.1 and i have the home button whic does not work. In order to make it work, i have to open konkeror and then click on the "home" buttom" to get to my home directory and then close konqueror. Then when i click on the home button in the taskbar, it works. moved to software by scoopy

i was wondering where are the settings to set Mozilla as the default browser and mozillla mail as the default mail client ?

how to install ndiswrapper 0.11 from the ndiswrapper-0.1.tar.gz ? is there a rpm version.

I have updated to the latest kernel but i still have as well the old kernel in the boot sequence and when i boot in the new kernel it goes fist in scanning bios settings and then starts. how do i change the boot so that it starts normally with the new kernel ? And can i remove the old kernel ?

i have the printer canon i950 with mandrake 10.1 and when i print from whatever application (even with printing the test page), it only print the document in the quarter of the page (the whole document is printed but in reduced size) i have checked the settings and it is set on A4. is there any way to resolve this pb ?

i cannot print with my Canon i950 printer because it is not recognized. i used to be able to print when i was on mandrake 10.0. but now with mandrake 10.1, i can't.

what do you mean by "( don't forget to ---- urpmi urpmi ---- when you finish )", does that mean taht i have to type urpmi urmmi at the end of the command lines of the sources ? Will i be then able to update 10.1 community to 10.1 official this way ? If so, that would be swell !!!!!!!!!!!!

i bought a renewal service for mandrakeonline today. However, when i try to lauch automatic updates, it tells me that it is not activated). Does anyone have an idea what i did wrong ?

Well i reinstalled everything form scratch, now it seems to work, though i am wondering if it was worth it to move to 10.1. there was supposed to be a bluetooth support and support for wireless, but it is the same as with 10.0. But at least, with 10.0 mozilla was working properly displaying website seamlessly and displaying flash anim properly.

I have installed mandrake 10.1 community (fresh install) and now i have some issues with it - flashplayer6 is not recognized in Konqueror and i cannot install flashplayer 7 - Mozilla 1.2.7 is very slow displaying websites such as netscape.net or some forum websites (with konqueror or browsers on windows, work fine)

I created a new user and i can klogin wit it. How do i ship my file from the old user to the new user ?
