I try other distros (Fedora Core 1, Knoppix 3.3, etc,...) and don't have this problem, only in Mandrake :-(

The "xset ..." don't works :-( I check the power saving bios features: - ACPI Suspen Type: S1 (I have only three options: S1, S3 or S1&S3) - Power Management: Hdd down-->Disabled, Doze Mode-->Disabled, Suspend Mode-->Disabled - Video Off Option: Suspend-->Off - Video Off Method: V/H Sync+Blank - Run VGA Bios if S3 Resume: Auto - Wake Up Events: All options in OFF any idea? thx's again to all ;-)

Ok, tomorrow I will try it of the "xset", in the BIOS I have put everything relating to the power management in disabled, but some options I cannot put like disabled, as for example the way to using, "S1", "S3", ó " S1 & S3". I re-chek de bios settings. If the "xset ..." works, Where I put this line in for it begins automatically in every computer start? In /etc/rc.d/rc.local ?
