I'm afraid I can't find "Set Up Boot System" in my MCC (mva 2006), but the message is clear. Many thanks.
According to the 2006 documentation, it's Boot loader; select the Advanced button; select 'Clean /tmp at each boot'. :)

In the MCC, go to Set Up Boot System; select the Advanced tab; select 'Clean /tmp at each boot'. :)

There's no need to start a new thread for this, so I've merged the two topics. :)

I've replaced the dead links in Darkelve's original post. However www.linuxhardware.net is inaccessible because of a missing index file - does anyone know if this is temporary or has the resource moved?
-
Thanks for reporting back. I'll mark it solved. :)

istanlfc - I've merged your new thread into the old one. Please don't start a new topic on the same problem, particularly when members are already helping you. Thanks.

Surely this belongs in hardware :) ?
Only if it has Mandriva installed or you're trying to install it.

OK then, 3 more to go now. Too bad; I have an awesomely nice desktop this month. Guess you all will just have to wait a bit.
We couldn't wait to see your desktop, so we've reduced the post requirement to 5. :)

Thanks, dude67, but I when I click on the reply button I see nothing that you mention. There is a text box which I am now in obviously, and below it are two buttons labeled 'Toggle Side Panel' and 'BB Code Help'. Below those buttons, there is a section called "Post Optioins" then further down is "Post Icons". There is nothing about Attachments anywhere.
It is currently board policy that members can't upload files until they reach 10 posts. This is to counteract spamming activities.
Sorry. :)

Changelog:
New features:
• The 'Properties' dialog for files and folders now supports multiple selection.

o for CD EXTRA compilation: at least one audio track should be present
• The item duplication now works correctly and does not delete the original item anymore.
• When ripping an audio track, the '/' character is automatically replaced by '_' for the output file name.

• The Japanese manual has been updated.
• The date chooser widget now contains 'Ok' and 'Cancel' buttons to be a little bit more user-friendly.

• The re-sampling of audio file when creating audio CD out of it is now working properly.
• The 'Properties' dialog for files and folders is now counting the directory items and size correctly.
• The 'Info' tab of the mixed-mode and CD EXTRA compilations in the 'New Compilation' dialog now show the correct size.

Use code tags (10th icon, 2nd row) instead of codebox. :)
Codeboxes are for large pieces of code, but they often disrupt the page layout and are more trouble than they're worth...
