  9. Oki I will give you more info. There are 2 additional usb plugs in the keyboard... While the booting, I didn't see any entry of USB devices Also I got “... kernel source 2.16.. ..mdk cannot install this model..” duiring the boot. From this post (http://forum.mandrivaclub.com/viewtopic.php?t=47570) I read about commands: #dmesg|grep usb # lsmod|grep usb # cat /var/log/messages|grep usb|tail -n 25 So here they are : 1: 2. 3. When I try #/etc/init.d/usb restart, I get in spite of the fact that the usb shell is there...I also added the code from that post, but there is no change. I really want my keyboard to work. Thank you

  11. Hi there, I'm a newbie. Have just installed mandriva 2006. HP USB keyboard (model 5302H) worked fine during the installation, but after rebooting it stopped responding(num is on).I plugged PS2 , went to hardware, plugged&unplagged USB and suddenly it worked. After another reboot ,again , the keyboard stopped responding. I can't remember what I did :). In Lilo window - keyboard responds. USB mouse works perfectly. In knoppix 3. keyboard worked. In 4. same problem. Thanks a lot.
