  7. I found an intresting article about comparison of web browsers such as Firefox, Netscape, Mozilla, MS Explorer & ... on different platforms: Linux, Mac, Win. A very disappointing findings for FireFox supporters, such as me :o [moved from Software by spinynorman]

  16. Lockheed Martin steps up with a little help from open source OS... Linux enlisted for mission-critical defence app Published: Thursday 1 December 2005
  17. Sometimes it is easier to use CLI indeed, but unfortunately i don't know so mush commands (it is hurd to memorize them all  ) so i use GUI. I think that one day i'll sucrifise some of my time to learn & memorize more commands.
  18. I voted freshman. I think that i know the basics of linux and that's all. I had some experience in manual driver installation and a little bit of samba, but i still have to learn & learn till i could make it my defoult OS.
  19. The main idea was to check the popularity of Linux at younger ages, becouse as i can see now, it's not so popular. It doesn't really matter for me when you started using linux. Many users started at 30+. I think that Linux should be spreaded at younger ages in order to avoid that linux/windows transition and make linux more common. If linux was common, then maybe it'll push hardware produsers to support it more. Everyone will benefit, except M$ :D .
  20. The same for me, but i don't really know what coused me to start using Linux, i think i just was bored...
  21. Hi, once again i had an argue with my friend about Linux. He claims, that linux is popular among people in 19-23 ages. They are young, impulsive and feel rebellious, they angry with no reason at M$ - that is why they use linux. I partially agree with him, except that i'm not angry at MS. I also think that linux must be presented in front of youth (under 15) - in order to drow attention and possibly make it more common. I installed my first distro at 20. What do you think? [moved from Talk-Talk by spinynorman]
  22. Exactly... I've realized that after switching several distros :D
