Peppercorn
I have installed Mythtv and unbelievably all is going well! But, I want to be able to convert the .nuv files that Mythtv produces to avi files. mpeg2 files is OK also, but if I can get them to avi I can do more with them. What program is there that will covert them?? Any?? Thanks Peppercorn
Peppercorn
Doesn't anyone know anything about these files???? There must be a way of converting them other than going back to M$oft..
Guest kuchwas
Take a look here http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-21...21.html#ss21.13 Transcode is the workhorse of video conversion for linux. You can run it command line, or there are some gui frontends for it. It can convert your Nuppelvideo files to any format you want. On your Mandrake box, look here file:///usr/share/doc/transcode-0.6.11 (adjust for the version you have, of course). If you don't have transcode, get it!! The PLF version will give you more conversion ability. Tim Edited November 24, 2003 by kuchwas
