jacques
Hello to you all, I have a question, if i would urpmi the cooker version of kde 3.2 beta would it work on my mandrake stable 9.2... Because there are much new things in it and i love to try it. Or is there an other place to get it? greetings, Jacques
mtweidmann
If you use urpmi to resolve the deps, and the rpms are built for Mandrake they should install + work. Although other people who have actually tried will be able to tell you for sure. BUT remember that 3.2 is beta, so it my install/run but theres no gaurentee how stable it will be. ezroller
it may be safer to install from source in a seperate directory from your main system like /opt. it will be a harder task, but you won't damage your current kde install that way.
