daniewicz
i was wondering if maybe i got a bad download? Possibly. It is more likely you have a bad burn. Try burning a new disk from the iso you downloaded.
scarecrow
Try burning the ISO with ImgBurn- windows app, but it works flawlessly under wine as well. Tick on the "verify" option, so you'll be sure your burned disk has no errors, compared to the ISO image.
