Mandrake trying to read floppy until I logout

I'm running mandrake 9.0, in KDE, if I go to kicker|quick browser|root|mnt| and put mouse over floppy, it shows "failed to read disk"

Which is fine, because I had no disk in there, but after that, it just keeps reading, about 2 times a second, until I logout. I'm pretty sure this is a bug.

When you use the quick browser and put your mouse on /mnt/floppy, it will attempt to read the floppy. It wouldn't be any different then browsing to the floppy from a console. As for the continual reading of the floppy drive until you log out, I haven't heard of it before. Maybe a supermount issue, but since there is no media in the drive, it's hard to say.
