Mandrake 9.0 and Sony Vaio touchpad

Hi,

I installed Mandrake 9.0 on my Sony Vaio FX-702 laptop, with a usb mouse plugged in, and everything went smoothly.... well except that sometimes on boot my mouse is not detected and that I just have to start Mandrake control center (just start it), and then it goes on again?! Or sometimes it is the other way round, I start it, and then mouse is off... any idea about this?

But this i not my main concern. My touchpad, which was automatically configured in 8.2 does not work at all. How can I fix this? There is no option in Mousedrake.

Thanks,

Yann

For the touchpad, edited /etc/X11/XFreeconfig-4, added mouse2 device

Section "InputDevice"

Identifier "Mouse2"

Driver "mouse"

Option "Protocol" "PS/2"

Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"

Option "Emulate3Buttons"

Option "Emulate3Timeout" "50"

EndSection

Section "ServerLayout"

Identifier "layout1"

InputDevice "Keyboard1" "CoreKeyboard"

InputDevice "Mouse1" "CorePointer"

InputDevice "Mouse2" "SendCoreEvents"

Screen "screen1"

EndSection

any idea for the 1st pb?
