3DFX Voodo 3 in Mandrkae 9.2

Hi

i have Voodoo 3(ya i know that's suck!) and recently i update my Mandrkae from 9.1 to 9.2(i installed over 9.1)

anyway, in mandrake 9.1 my voodoo worked gerat! i had 3D accelerator(for 3D games)

but when i got the Mandrkae 9.2 my 3D accelerator is slow and painful(for example when i play Tuxracer it's slow like HELL)

why in mandrake 9.1 my VOODOO3 worked great and in Madrake 9.2 it's slow?

and what i can do about it to fix this?

get the tdfx drivers from dri.sourceforge.net

 

They have nightly snapshots, so you may need to try the newest or maybe and older driver. Just unpack it, init 3, and run the installation script. You will need the kernel sources installed to compile the drivers.

Well i download as you said

i installed the driver without any prubolm

 

but now when i start linux it's don't shows GUI (like KDE) instaed i am in a shell(like a trminal)

 

what can i do and why Mandrake dosen't support on 3dfx?
