hello

I use guarddog and find it very nice to set up and use. The only problem i have is that every time i reboot i loose connection to my port 4662 ( my amule/ed2k port ) To fix it i have to open guarddog and then apply my settings ( even though i haven't changed anything )

Other ports are fine like slsk (2234) and the web and stuff.

Another interesting issue it that when i look at services running ( through drackconf ?> system ?> services ) iptables is listed as stopped ( it is also selected as run on boot ) if i click start nothing happens.

I am using mandrake 9.2rc2 and i am using the enterprise kernel ( i have to to get al my ram recognised )

Please advise.

I am on 9.1

Are you running guarddog as su to root? (to get system wide configs)

2) You can leave the internet and iptables as off. Guarddog is just a program to wiite a script that will auto start when needed.

3) If you do enable iptables it will go to sleep if not actied upon so leave it is my advice
