I see these in the ftp dir, with up2date packages. http://mandrakeusers.com/PLF/cooker/sparc/ But were are the install ISO's?? www.linuxiso.org has nothing, I tried to go to www.ultralinux.org and look for them, but this class I'm in this week seems to be blocking that site? jlc
Cybr - what is sparc? The processor arch for Sun workstation/servers. The only distro's that seem to keep an updated port is Gentoo & Debian. Thanks for the link, 7.1 that is old. Wonder why they stopped the sparc port? One of my Sun workstations at home, I run Gentoo on it, just to play around with Linux on Sparc.
Gowator
Wonder why they stopped the sparc port? Same reason the stopped the i386 port??? Unless you include SuperSparc as well?? however, not sure I'd want to Run mandrake on SPARC, Im not sure why, just doesn't feel right ??? I guess slackware or debian ...... Still, if I had one at home .......
jlc
Trust me, Gentoo takes for EVER to compile on an Ultra 10.
