kilimanjaro
I am having a problem accessing my cdroms. I just burned four cds and I was wanting to check them. I am using fluxbox, so I opened konqueror and typed in /mnt/cdrom/ and it opened the cd fine, but the next time I tried to do it I was told that I did not have access rights to open the cdrom. So I tried the other cdrom and I got the same response. So I opened a terminal and logged in as root and then opened konqueror and tried to open the cdrom and I was told that I didn't have access rights. I have no idea what is going on. I have shut down my computer and rebooted and I get the same response. I have access my cdroms before, so something has changed, but I don't know what. pmpatrick
Post /etc/fstab. Did your access problems start after configuring k3b, a common cd burning program? k3b makes certain changes to fstab which can cause problems.
kilimanjaro
I am using Eroaster I have to use it as root. I haven't figured out how to configure it to use as a normal user. Could this be causing my problem? I did reboot and try again.
