superyupkent Posted October 11, 2003 Report Share Posted October 11, 2003 Hi all, after installing perl 5.8.1 through make install, I receive the following error: [root@mydomain sbin]# urpmi Can't locate urpm.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.1/i686-linux /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.1 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/i686-linux /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at /usr/sbin/urpmi line 20. kmack Posted October 12, 2003 Report Share Posted October 12, 2003 I don't think urpmi is dead, just wounded! :roll: I didn't do a source perl install but had a similar problem once and this url helped me. http://www.twuug.org/lists/twuug/2002-11/msg00059.html Take a look at it and see what you think. Your problem is a bit different, but as I recall, there were several related things to this so try a google with your error and you might find something more precise.
