manza7 Posted October 8, 2003 Report Share Posted October 8, 2003 :roll: Please help, here is the scenario: . telnet from W2K PC to MD9.1 server . login and issue command "vncserver :1" . from W2K PC, start VNC viewer on "192.168.x.x:1" Gnome desktop appears and all works well including Mandrake control center except "Konqueror", "Kdwrite", they seemed to start and then nothing happens. Puzzled me.. Need to use VNC because Linux server is down stairs in a network closet and I prefer to use GUI to interact. Any pointer is appreciated.
