bvc
Do you have 8.2's gnome1.4 rpm's available? This would be the easiest way. Or see if ximian is still using 1.4. I don't know that you'll find one place to get gnome 1.4 rpm's. Compiling 1.4 by tar?...well..good luck. You might find some good suggestions, or answers here; http://gnomesupport.org/forums/ Oh, and gtk-1.2 is what you want anyway rt? It's part of gnome2. But to use gtk1.2 themes you have to use a ~/.gtkrc. Here's mine # -- THEME AUTO-WRITTEN DO NOT EDIT include "/usr/share/themes/lcd/gtk/gtkrc" include "/home/bvc9/.gtkrc.mine" # -- THEME AUTO-WRITTEN DO NOT EDIT How or if this works with kde, I have no idea.
