Guest c_m_f
Lets just hope that out of this mess comes soemone taking a stab at porting the code over, to present to valve and hopefully they will then listen.
sud_crow
If i didnt missread "or read wrong" ;) sometime ago, Half-Life2 was going to be ported to Linux, if not at the same time as the launch for windows, soon after... same as doom3 i dont think that stealing the code will help in anything, but also i cant find a bad thing... as i dont use MP servers wich could abuse of possible hacks. also, i think there will be some trouble following this regarding legal issues, as it seems the source was stolen, its possible that its for sale or something... I dont think someone would stole it for nothing.... needless to say that i dont think it was stolen as Gabe says in his letter... its a D.A.M.N. S.T.U.P.I.D. argument. And if its true.... then screw them for using Outlook...
