I have 2 partitions that i mount when i login. GNOME 2.4 decides it wants to put icons on the desktop for these. GNOME 2.4 doesnt have the right click menu, disks, and unselect em there.

HOw do i get rid of em?

I had a quick look through gconf-editor and found nothing, it was only a quick look tho. gconf-editor reminds me of regedit.....
