Guest PAN Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 hiya, i've been using mandriva 2009(most recent update) on an intel pentium D, 2GB RAM machine. the OS is on one drive and i keep docs & such on another. at first rhythmbox worked beautifully then performance began to degrade- skipping. i started using amarok and the same thing happened. now, i'm lucky to get :30 out of a song before the app kluges up completely. are there patches i'm not aware of? are those media players just crappy?
