help i can not change most of my security settings in m9.1

when i start mandrake control center .. and go to security .

and klick on draksec i can only change the level... but all other things... like administrator name or network options system options blabla it wont remember my changes... if i go back and look

al was the same as it was befor...

i must be root when i go into the controll panal so that is not the prob...

i have all updates that where on the list

if this also installs all the updates automaticly when/after downloading ,, what i was thinking it would do.... right???

that means all is updated..

and i still have the problem..

problem that was fixed with your update...

hmmm maybe something was not updated correctly..

only problem is that if i go to the update screen it does not display anny more updates ,coz

i have al of them..maybe if i knew what update it was the fix for this... hmmmm.....

anyway... i realy need to find out if i can fix this and what could be the problem..

i have a dual boot system and i realy do want to use linux more then windows... :D

In my experience, lots of the mandrake tools are busted, or not complete.

I suggest you try to use the command line options to harden your system.

You could use msec in 8.2, Im not sure if 9.1 still has that. You can then change the config files to suit your security needs.
