Seagate to ship baracuda drive line with Lindows pre-install

Seagate announced that they will ship drives in their Baracuda line with the Lindows operating system pre-installed. The drives will cost the same as their bare-bones counterparts. Seagate estimates that it will save $100 per machine for PC manufacturers in setup costs.

 

This is nice for Linux on the desktop, even if it IS Lindows, versus a "real" distribution. More exposure.

I agree. Only those of us familiar with linux really dislike lindows, but most of the public stiil needs exposure to some kind of linux!
