83mercedes
I have a choice to make, I have given up on Lexmark. The HP PSC2110 or PSC750, both are listed in Mandrake 9 printerdrake, has anybody got either one working, is it possible? And will they work as printer/scanner/copier, or will I have to settle for just printer? I'm asking BEFORE I blow the $248 or $149 (respectively). (I have learned valuable lesson...I won't buy any more hardware UNTIL I check it's compatibility, and ask you guys on this forum...
Guest anon
I have a HP 1150c all in one, printer, scanner, copier, but not that model. It now ( mdk 9.00 ) works fine. You just need to install the hpoij file which is on the cd. Printerdrake will get it for you . 83mercedes
Thanks! Hopefully this will work also, I have yet to decide on the model, but the 2 models I posted are in-stock at Wal-Mart, so I won't have to wait...One is a hundred bucks more than the other, I wonder if it pays to spend the extra. I really don't plan to do any "professional" photo stuff. What do ya think?
Guest anon
Generally speaking, as im sure you know, you get what you pay for. We do a lot of photo stuff here so we have a dedicated photo quality printer. The "all in one " printers are fine for everyday use, but you will never get "professional " quality from them. we use the hp 1150c for general office stuff. Actually my HP PSC750 produces professional quality photos. I don't even use my photo printer anymore. I only have it as a back up now should I need it. But if it suits your needs, that's great
