hanes
Hi, have a thinkpad x61 tablet here. I cant get the volume buttons to work. I installed tpb, but when I go into tools-> thinkpad configuration I get an error about /dev/thinkpad not existing. How do I get them to work with the OSD and stuff? I have gotten it working before with another top. But no luck here.
David Batson
Maybe my experience in the following thread with a T42 will help you some. http://forum.mandriva.com/viewtopic.php?t=78496
yossarian
I'm running X30 and the thinkpad-configuration tool didn't work for me either, so I uninstalled it. However, try using the ibm-acpi package (available in the repositories). With this installed on my machine, the volume and brightness control buttons are functioning properly.
