elektronist
Hi, How can I get screenshots, while installing Mandrake Linux?
MottS
I took some the other day with my digital camera. Unfortunately all the packages (programs) required to do frame-buffer screenshots are still on the cds during the installation. So this is why I used the digital camera. Maybe someone has a solution... MOttS
theYinYeti
Install Mandrake inside a virtual machine like Bochs. This way, the whole machine is inside a window. Just take a snapshot of this window. Yves.
mtweidmann
VMWare is an alternative virtual pc program and its not too hard to use. Plus I think you can get a free-so-many-day trail version.
Guest Adriano
OR you could press Alt + F2 while installing, it'll take a screenshot of every framebuffer screen. I've done this repeatedly during 9.1 installation, for something I'm working on.
