Well, they look to have a small community of users.

We have 31 registered users = not much forum help

1.0 released 2003/09/03 = not very long

Little description:

Onebase Linux (OL) is an independent meta source distribution created in July 2003. It is powerful, transparent and free. The installation, packages and configuration are managed by our in-house integrating technique called Onebase Linux Management (OLM). Even though Onebase Linux is a source distribution, it is easy for novice Linux users and also for fresh Windows converts. While we only provide the basic tools, the architecture of Onebase Linux is so flexible that you can convert Onebase Linux into an enterprise system, workstation, game-station, server or a productivity system with just a few clicks.

You could certianly give it ago and see what happens!

I might be getting an older celeron machine that I might use for a personal server/test-bed.  Maybe Onebase will the first distro I run on it.

Just keep in mind the slower the system you install something like Gentoo, Onebase or LFS on, the LONGER it will take. Your compiling everything! Slower processor, slower times.
