Is there a way to install security (or other) updates from a console (or a cron entry). I rarely have physical access to my server and do most everything through ssh. I've been vncing to the server to install updates, and I've been trying to figure out if there is an easier way.

Thanks for the info. Now if only --auto-select were documented in the man or --help entry....
from man urpmi

       urpmi.addmedia(8),  urpmi.update(8), urpmi.removemedia(8), autoirpm(8),

gurpmi(8), urpmf(8), urpmq(8), rpmdrake(8)[/quote]I don't know what it is, but there's a man autoirpm, but not on my sys. I think because I don't have some rpm/auto pkg install.
