MottS Posted September 11, 2003 Report Share Posted September 11, 2003 Why don't you install it with the Software Manager (rpmdrake)? Go to the Mandrake Control Center (MCC) then clic Softwares and then InstallPrograms (or something like that). Then search for midnight commander (mc). You should see it .. then select it and press Install. If you don't see it in rpmdrake then add some sources (specally Contrib) to your rpm database. Go to the following website for that .. 3 easy steps http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/ Then search back for mc in rpmdrake.. you should see it now. Ixthusdan Posted September 11, 2003 Report Share Posted September 11, 2003 Open a terminal and type su, enter your password. Then type "urpmi mc". It's on the disks!
