Guest dca_sonic
Hello. Good morning for all. I have a problem with internet using the MCNLive Toronto. My modem is configured as to router (its a SpeedTouch V6). But when i use the USB MCNLive Toronto the system do not recognize my modem. (All lights of my modem light. But the light of "Ethernet" no). So is impossible to configure the internet. The same problem happened with USB Pendrivelinux2008. How can i resolve this problem? Thanks. PS.: Sorry for my poor english. i'm learning yet. scarecrow
http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/mandrake/index.html Of course all that will NOT work with a live CD, since you have nowhere to upload the firmware. It may (or may not) work with a live pendrive, if you follow the above steps. Final solution? very simple: Get an ethernet router.
