tyme Posted August 30, 2003 Report Share Posted August 30, 2003 there are executables in /usr/bin the one for wine is just plain wine. you are best to run wine from the command line, specifying where the program is that you want wine to try to run/emulate. as for yahoo, i'm not sure what the executable name is...probably the name of the program...i've never used it so i can't tell you for sure. once you find the name of the executable (binary) you can create a menu item for it using the menu editor provided with mandrake. this is in the mandrake control center. p.s. (off-topic): you may want to change the link to here that's on your page to call it mandrake users, as mandrake forum is technically owned by mandrake (mandrakeforum.com-seems to not be setup yet, but the mandrake club has the forum). just FYI.
