geden
Posted this in hardware forum too but no replies :( I'm running mandrake 9.0 (kernel 2.4.19mdk) and have a netgear MA311 wireless card that uses the Prism 2.5 Wavelan chip and am having trouble finding drivers for this beasty. Anyone got any clues as to where I might find them? I've googled several places but always seem to end up at a dead end. Thx for any help... :banghead:
liquidzoo
A quick google search ( http://www.google.com/linux ) found that your card actually uses the orinoco_pci driver to get it working. There are a few threads concerning this at www.linuxquestions.org Ones I found helpful were here and here. They are both dealing with RedHat, but you should be able to get started with getting that card installed and recognized there and we can help you with the Mandrake specifics here. Let me know if you run into any problems and I will try to help you out more.
