theYinYeti
I don't understand... Can anyone help me? Since a month or two ago, mail I (try to) send via (previously working) postfix just stands forever in the mailq, and never gets sent... Here is an illustration of the problem: (while I am connected): [root@XXX root]# mailq -Queue ID- --Size-- ----Arrival Time---- -Sender/Recipient------- A39102AC20* 2091 Sat Aug 2 13:37:43 yves.gablin@XXX pierre@XXX F41762AC29* 658 Sat Aug 2 13:48:15 yves.gablin@XXX gablin-sol@XXX -- 3 Kbytes in 2 Requests. [root@XXX root]# sendmail -q [root@XXX root]# mailq -Queue ID- --Size-- ----Arrival Time---- -Sender/Recipient------- A39102AC20* 2091 Sat Aug 2 13:37:43 yves.gablin@XXX pierre@XXX F41762AC29* 658 Sat Aug 2 13:48:15 yves.gablin@XXX gablin-sol@XXX -- 3 Kbytes in 2 Requests. [root@XXX root]# You see? no change... All I can do now (and I do it a lot lately) is: [root@XXX root]# postsuper -d A39102AC20 postsuper: A39102AC20: removed postsuper: Deleted: 1 message [root@XXX root]# postsuper -d F41762AC29 postsuper: F41762AC29: removed postsuper: Deleted: 1 message HELP !! Thanks. Yves.
b
Allo Merde still no reply! My first thoughts: your ISP just like mine is bloking your non FQDN smpt server. Second (minor) thought postfix flush Sayonara 0 tracking here!
static
employez-vous iptables? Maybe it's a ruleset..? This is really strange, but in a way I'm happy it's not getting sent (because then it's it stays in the que for a reason). I'm willing to bet the problem isn't with the queue so much as with the actual sending. Does your ISP use SSL for POP mail (or maybe they just started?) SSL uses different ports...
