Guest JaseP
You know, that's a really good question,... I never have taken a look at FreeCiv.
DOlson
To play against AI, do this: Open a console. Launch `civserver` In here, type in `set aifill 5` where 5 is how many players total you wish to have. Now, launch a client (usually using `civclient`) and connect to localhost. Now, in the server console, type in `start`. I'm sorry if this a stupid question but I have absouloutley no idea how to do anything on FreeCiv! PS: Can you play with no humans? It's not a stupid question! I ignored FreeCiv for far FAR too long because I didn't know what to do. It's worth learning! It's a great free game. :D
Michel
sorry for my bad English :)..I just tried it out again :D.... In 1.4..you just choose "new game" and it automatically starts up a local game....for a lan/internet-game I suppsoe you choose -> join game..... it's gotten a lot eaiser than in previous versions indeed..there you had to connect to your localhost for a local game.. I suppose they do that automatically now...
