phunni
I recently upgraded to evolution 1.4 from 1.2. Previously, my default browser was galeon and I'd like it to still be, but mozilla is the browser that evolution starts. I don't use gnome or KDE (I use fluxbox) so I don't have the normal gnome config tools. I did try installing gconf-editor, but using this made no difference. Can anyone suggest a way of making galeon my default evolution browser?
tyme
welllll..... do you use mozilla at all? 'cuz we could be tricky.... rm /usr/bin/mozilla ln -s /usr/bin/galeon /usr/bin/mozilla of course there may also be a setting somewhere, but I don't know where it is.... phunni
Nice one - I guess a less "quick and dirty" solution would be better, but this will do nicely in the meantime It works exactly as I wanted it to - even opens links in a new tab if the browser is already open
tyme
it was a pure evil genius thought just hope it doesn't cause problems in the future!
phunni
Me too! :D I guess worst problem will simply require a re-emerge of mozilla. Not much fun, but hardly a disaster
