Guest jtaylr77
I noticed in the pub directory it has a folder named athlon XP and several rpm packages for it. Should I bother downloading and running each one for my athlon XP laptop? If not all..are there some that are really worthwhile to get? Thanks! Guest anon
Those Athlon XP RPMs have been rebuilt by members of this board. Hopefully, those who rebuilt them will be answering your question soon.

Well i think it was worth it for me, but i recently saw an article on gcc optimisations that makes me want to rebuild them all again with better optimisations. Soon i will have an extra athlon-xp system so i can let 1 rebuild stuff while i play on the other.
mtweidmann
I never got the KDE packages to install, both urpmi and rpm said that the packages were already installed (technically true I guess). Tried various different arguements, but the only one that worked was forcing the install, so I gave up. When I have time (and my internet connection back) I will resume the fight.
