Guest BooYah
does anyone know of how, in America, someone would go about filing a complaint against SCO? If someone has got the time and the knoweldge to put together a good complaint you might want to look at the FTC (Federal Trade Comission) and BBB (Bettter Business Bureau) web sites. I'm sure there's consumer sites around too. The Salt Lake City BBB has this. It looks like some folks have already complained, since the page is being updated. Maybe us US folks should work on getting a well thought out complaint put together and then we each could file seperate well-informed complaints with each and every approriate agency, as opposed to incomplete and ignorant ones with disjointed beraucratic offices that would just get sent to the trash anyway. Things like "SCO sux. They're a bunch of liars!" filed at the West Bumblef*ck town commision won't cut it, and will make us, hence the linux community, look like a bunch of idiots who are only interested in free software. iphitus
I'm sick of all this IP and digital rights and all this $%#@. I'm sick of SCO. Why can't SCO and Micro$#!T go just either a) dissapear B) release all their code under GPL Dammit all this patenting and everything is really becoming stupid!!! But i have proof this is evil!!!!!! you see all this (i'll call it sco) wastes loads of time and money so Sco equals time multiplied by money. sco = time x money And seeing as time is money SCO equals money squared sco = (money)^2 And as money is the root of all evil. so money squared = square root of evil Therefore sco = evil So this proves SCO, MIcrosoft and all it's IP and digital rights $#@& is evil!!!!!!! The above can also be applied to women...................... James And this is my 500th post!!! And whoa!!! i'm an old timer now!!!!!! but i'm too young to be old!!!!!! Technonoid
rcxau, you hit the nail on the head. Except, I don't think all women are as you say. However, I will say about 90 percent of them are.

tyme
those in the U.S. can file a complaint with the SEC: http://www.sec.gov/complaint/cf942sec9570.htm I got the link off of slashdot (so you know it's probably going to get hit hard). As many people mentioned on there, the squeeky wheel gets the grease.
tyme
the plot thickens: http://www.pclinuxonline.com/modules.php?n...rticle&sid=7263 so far SCO execs have made a cool mil. in stock sales in June and July.
zero0w
If SCO somehow withdraws the lawsuit in the beginning/middle of the litigation process due to knowingly insufficient evidence, this IS definitely a trait of insider trading :x . Guest JaseP
Oh, that's beautiful... File a crap lawsuit, spread some FUD, drive up stock price. Sell it off. Make a tidy profit and then lose the suit on its merits... Remind you of maybe,... Charles Keating,... or anyone!?!?!?
Guest JaseP
Oh,... The plot thickens... It seems that SCO has used uits new-found leverage to purchase a company called Vultus or something like that,... Articles found in various sources say that this in effect has allowed SCO to "print money"... Check out http://linuxtoday.com/ very interesting...
