shen
I need a good ssh client. I run KDE but I don't want to install the KDE network package just for the gui ssh front end. Anyways toss me some ideas on a ssh frontend I can run in kde... I know gnome telnet has ssh support but I don't want to install all the gnome stuff it needs.. Guest anon
I haver never tried any, but using sftp in Konqueror is secure. And you get to see folders etc. You always have to enter your pass twice, as it says its wrong the first time, a bug i guess.
SoulSe
Why use a GUI? The console will always be faster and... well.... more linuxish. :P
Vdubjunkie
Why use a GUI? The console will always be faster and... well.... more linuxish. :P Well said. The terminal is the way to get stuff done efficiently. Now vnc across an ssh encrypted channel, that's an idea. Unfortunately I'm having trouble getting that to work
