Dyslexic
I recently installed Texstar's freetype2 packages, and now some of my fonts aren't rendering properly. Is there a way that I can revert back to the stock Mandrake 9.1 packages? If not, will compiling and installing the latest release from freetype.org break my system? bvc
rpm -e --nodeps pkg_name.rpm then urpmi freetype2 should do it. Keep in mind if you have added other sources urpmi will consider them, so if they have what urpmi consider to be a better freetype2 than the default it will use them. Then you'll have to install the necessary pkgs manually from a terminal. You'll also need to do the -e --nodeps for each of texstar's freetype2 and dep pkgs that you installed.
